𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥: Speed isn’t slow because you’re busy. It’s slow because you have too much time. I felt this hard this week. 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤-𝐭𝐨-𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬. 𝟑𝟎 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡. Fully booked. Still… things weren’t moving. So I changed one thing. 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 → 𝟏𝟓 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐬. No buffer. No room to drift. And everything changed. 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭. In half the time: • We got to the point instantly • Decisions happened on the spot • Less talking, more clarity • No space for overthinking • Action replaced discussion 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞. 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐬. 𝐃𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐞𝐝. Because time wasn’t helping us. It was diluting us. Most delays aren’t about complexity. They’re about too much space to hesitate. When time expands, so does indecision.
